Brush Prairie — Organizers say the Brush Prairie Spirit Parade on Sept. 15 was a smashing success, with 25 entries and about 400 participants. Grand marshal was Nancy Miller, director of Rocksolid Teen Center. “The weather was perfect,” said Julie Kim, a parade organizer. After the parade, Bethel Lutheran Church and Wrench Works hosted a free barbecue, and the Brush Prairie General Store offered free snow cones.
