Commission to hear about Klickitat hatchery improvements

OLYMPIA — A briefing on improvements to Klickitat Salmon Hatchery will be on the agenda Oct. 5 when the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission meets here.

The nine-member panel will meet beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 5 and 6 in room No. 172 of the Natural Resources Building, 1111 Washington St. S.E.

The Klickitat hatchery briefing is on the agenda for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 5. A briefing on restructuring the lower Columbia River commercial and sport fisheries will be presented at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 6.

The commission will take public comment on the topic immediately following the Oct. 6 briefing.
