Police raided a Camas home Thursday and arrested the occupant on suspicion of trafficking in marijuana.

The raid took place at 1215 Division St. and was conducted by Camas police and the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force.

Brett D. Renfroe, 44, was arrested on suspicion of multiple charges related to the delivery and possession of controlled substances, according to a press release from Mike Cooke, commander of the drug task force.

Police said they seized marijuana, ecstasy and cash from the home.

Police alleged that undercover detectives had purchased marijuana at the residence.

Cooke said neighbors had been concerned about possible drug trafficking at the home.

“We hope this brings some relief to the neighbors who just want to enjoy a peaceful place to live and raise families,” he said.
