Hudson’s Bay students begin prom dress drive

Members of the National Honor Society at Hudson’s Bay High School have started their prom dress drive.

The project is set to coincide with homecoming season, so girls can donate their homecoming dresses after the events at their schools.

Donors can bring new and gently worn dresses and shoes — including bridesmaid dresses — to Hudson’s Bay High School, 1601 E. McLoughlin Blvd., Room 402.

Donations will be accepted through April; donated items cannot be returned.

Bay’s National Honor Society will hold the “Dreams Coming Alive” dress event in the spring to provide area high school girls with low-cost prom dresses.

For more information, contact Christina Chen, National Honor Society student, at christina.chen@vansd.org or adviser Eric Saueracker at eric.saueracker@vansd.org.
