STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Oakland Athletics pitcher Dallas Braden is getting attention for his outburst during an anti-crime rally in his hometown of Stockton.
Braden was carrying a baseball bat and began yelling at the city’s police chief about Stockton’s crime woes at Wednesday’s rally. At one point, Chief Eric Jones told Braden he would be escorted out if he didn’t wait his turn to speak.
