One man was arrested Friday night after two rocks were thrown through a bedroom window at Vancouver Fire Department’s Station 6, said VFD Capt. Kevin Murray.

Murray said the crew on duty at the station, 3216 N.E. 112th Ave., heard a loud crash and discovered that two rocks – one the size of a softball – had been thrown through a window in one of the station’s bedrooms. One of the rocks broke wallboard and landed on an empty bed.

Firefighters saw someone walking away from the station and followed him from a safe distance until police arrived and took him into custody.

Vancouver Police Sgt. Mike Davis said the man was arrested on a felony charge; damage was estimated at more than $750. The person’s name was not available Saturday.
