Letter: Consider God’s intention

The Columbian
Published: April 2, 2013, 5:00pm

Same-sex marriage propaganda has been unleashed like a tidal wave in the media, not surprisingly, just before the Supreme Court rules on it. It appeals to equality, compassion, fairness, but misses the really big issue. What does God, who invented sex, think about it? Never mind the Bible, which is unequivocal about the issue. Rather, contemplate God, Himself, the Inventor. Heterosexual activity is natural; homosexual is anything but natural.

There may be a few who have a natural propensity for homosexuality, but most are solicited and recruited. Some have endured the tragedy of abuse when young. Yes, plenty of room for compassion, no room for perversion.

We flaunt God’s intention in marriage to our own demise, individually and nationally. Ancient Greece and Rome are witnesses.
