LOS ANGELES (AP) — UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero has received a six-year contract extension through 2019.
The university says the deal, retroactive to Monday, includes a raise and potential bonuses tied to performance. UCLA noted that the compensation package is funded through athletic department revenues and private donors.
Since Guerrero became AD in 2002, UCLA has won 22 NCAA championships in 12 sports. He hired new men’s basketball coach Steve Alford last weekend, and oversaw a renovation of Pauley Pavilion last year.
