St. Johns graffiti: It won’t cost taxpayers any additional dollars to clean up vandalism and graffiti at the new St. Johns Boulevard interchange with state Highway 500. WSDOT spokeswoman Heidi Sause said: “The new interchange is still an active construction site. Our contractor will make sure the interchange is in pristine condition (when) they wrap up work this spring. Graffiti cleanup will be part of their final work efforts and the cost of the cleanup is included in our contractor’s project budget.” An item on Page D1 on Wednesday was unclear that final cleanup is part of the job.
