Letter: Bridge and light rail needed quickly

The Columbian
Published: April 5, 2013, 5:00pm

In his annual State of the City address, Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt properly addressed the value of the Columbia River and the Columbia River Crossing project. This bridge project is not about County Commissioners David Madore or Tom Mielke. It’s not about the city of Vancouver or Clark County. It’s about an interstate highway that affects economics and jobs from California to Canada. It’s important that this project with light rail be built as soon as possible.
