Caroline Kennedy set to visit Seattle elementary

SEATTLE — Caroline Kennedy is set to visit Sanislo Elementary in West Seattle on Monday to celebrate National Library Week. She will visit a first-grade class and also talk to the school’s poetry club.

Kennedy is the honorary chairwoman of National Library Week. She also will be making a public appearance in the evening at Seattle First Baptist Church. Poetry club members from Sanislo elementary will join her on stage for a talk about her poetry anthology, “Poems to Learn by Heart.”

The daughter of President John F. Kennedy has published several books and is also an attorney.
