ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) — The Oakland Raiders have made three more additions to their rebuilt defense by signing cornerback Mike Jenkins, safety Usama Young and defensive end Andre Carter to free-agent contracts.

General manager Reggie McKenzie announced the deals Tuesday.

Jenkins spent the past five seasons with the Cowboys. He started 48 games in his career but only two last season. He had five interceptions and made the Pro Bowl in 2009 but has just two interceptions the past three seasons.

Young played the last two seasons in Cleveland after spending four years in New Orleans, where Raiders coach Dennis Allen was secondary coach. He has seven interceptions and 22 passes defensed in 81 games.

Carter signed with the Raiders early last season and had 212 sacks in 12 games.
