MIAMI (AP) — Washington Nationals outfielders Bryce Harper and Denard Span are out of Tuesday night’s lineup with flu-like symptoms.

Both played in Monday’s game at Miami but were sick overnight, manager Davey Johnson said. He said he was hoping the bugs were of the 24-hour variety, and the players were scheduled to see a doctor.

Tyler Moore started in left field for Harper, who is batting .320 with five home runs. Roger Bernadina started for Span in center.

The Nationals also are without second baseman Danny Espinosa, sidelined by a bruised right hand.
