Pit bull dog survives shooting by Gladstone police

GLADSTONE, Ore. — Gladstone police say officers were forced to shoot a pit bull that charged them when they arrived at a mobile home park Monday afternoon, responding to a report of an aggressive dog.

The dog ran off but was located Monday night and treated at an animal hospital for minor injuries.

Police are talking with the owners.
