BOSTON (AP) — Boston Bruins forwards Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron both returned to the lineup on Wednesday night after missing time with concussions.

Bergeron had sat out six games with the fourth diagnosed concussion of his career. Marchand had missed two games.

The Bruins hosted the Buffalo Sabres in Boston’s first major sporting event since the Boston Marathon bombings. Monday’s game against Ottawa has been rescheduled for April 28.

Marchand is the team’s leading goal-scorer, with 16. He also had 17 assists coming into the game. Bergeron, the team’s best center, has 10 goals and 21 assists this season.
