Vancouver police on Sunday released the name of a man who was arrested Saturday night after an altercation at Water Works Park.

K-Last Karuo, 18, of Vancouver was arrested for suspicion of felony assault and first-degree robbery. He was treated at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center on Saturday and then taken to jail.

A 17-year-old man from Vancouver also was arrested for first-degree robbery, Officer Ilia Botvinnik said. His name was not released.

Details of the incident were sketchy but Botvinnik said there were two altercations and at least one attempted robbery about 6 p.m. Saturday.

Botvinnik said some members of a group of young adults and teens left the park. He asked that they call 911 if they were victims of a crime.
