PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Temple athletic director Bill Bradshaw will retire in June.

Bradshaw said Wednesday that he’s turning his full attention to unspecified family issues. He will take a personal leave of absence Friday.

Kevin Clark is the interim athletic director.

Bradshaw spent 11 years at Temple. He hired basketball coach Fran Dunphy after Hall of Famer John Chaney retired, and also led the football team through several periods of transition, including two stints in the Big East.

He was previously athletic director for 16 years at DePaul and nine years at La Salle.
