WASHINGTON (AP) — Conor Doyle and Jared Jeffrey each scored their first professional goals to lead D.C. United to a 3-1 victory over the Montreal Impact on Saturday.

Doyle also set up Jeffrey’s stoppage-time score in the pair’s second match each for their new club.

Luis Silva also scored for United (3-15-4), who snapped a five-game winless streak and scored three goals for the first time this season.

Jed Brovsky scored his first career goal for the Impact (10-6-5), who wasted a chance to move into second place in the Eastern Conference with a victory over the last-place United.

Montreal has just one win in its past seven matches and has allowed three or more goals in five of those.
