FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — The New England Patriots signed two rookie free agents to their roster on Monday before leaving for their first exhibition game in Philadelphia.
The Patriots signed offensive lineman Matt Stankiewitch and long-snapper Mike Zupancic. Stankiewitch went to Penn State and Zupancic went to Eastern Michigan.
The team practiced at home on Monday and then left for Philadelphia. The Patriots and Eagles will hold joint practices on Tuesday and Wednesday. They play the exhibition opener on Friday night.
