PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills have signed free agent defensive back Mark LeGree to fill the roster spot left open following Mana Silva’s unexcused departure.

LeGree has yet to play in the NFL after being selected by Seattle in the fifth round of the 2011 draft out of Appalachian State. He was cut by the Seahawks before the start of his rookie season.

He has spent the past two years on practice squads in Arizona, San Francisco, the New York Jets and Atlanta.

LeGree was signed Wednesday, a day after the Bills placed Silva on the exempt-left squad list. Silva left training camp without informing the Bills before practice Monday.

Silva’s agent, Josh Arnold, said his client is re-examining his priorities after experiencing some recent personal issues.
