FARGO, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota State has suspended senior defensive tackle Leevon Perry for the season-opener at Kansas State.

Coach Craig Bohl says the three-year starter from Cottage Grove, Minn., will plead guilty to a July 7 drunken-driving arrest. Senior Danny Luecke will start in Perry’s place against Kansas State on Aug. 30 in Manhattan, Kan.

NDSU is the two-time defending champion in the Championship Subdivision. A telephone listing for Perry in Fargo could not immediately be located.
