Motorcyclist dies in crash

UPDATE: The motorcyclist who died in the Camas-area crash has been identified as Brian Abbott, 46, of Clark County. He was riding a 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

FATALITY MOTORCYCLE CRASH

On August 11th about 0615 hours Clark County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a one vehicle collision in the 27400 block of Hathaway road. A newspaper delivery person found a motorcycle had left the roadway and the rider had impacted a parked vehicle. The rider was deceased at the scene.

It is unknown what time the collision occurred. Anyone who might has witnessed the collision or has any information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigators.

The name of the deceased will be released after family has been notified.
