TORONTO (AP) — Up With the Birds won the $500,000 Breeders’ Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack on Sunday, running 112 miles on the turf course in 2:28.69 in the final leg of the Canadian Triple Crown.
The Queen’s Plate runner-up gave owner Sam-Son Farm its record sixth victory in the race. River Seven was second in the 10-horse field, followed by Pyrite Mountain.
