CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago Cubs manager Dale Sveum has been ejected after Donnie Murphy was called out following a checked swing.

Sveum argued from the dugout on Sunday when home plate umpire Phil Cuzzi ruled that Murphy swung for a third strike in the seventh inning of the game against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Sveum had yelled from the dugout before coming on the field after he was ejected.
