COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — No matter how many years pass, Kenny Guiton will always be remembered for the Purdue game.

In one of the few appearances of his career when a game was still in doubt, Ohio State’s backup quarterback came in for an injured Braxton Miller and led the Buckeyes 61 yards in the final minute for a touchdown and a two-point conversion that forced overtime. Then he directed the way to a dramatic 29-22 victory.

When Ohio State fans think back on a stunning 12-0 record in 2012, the victory that the little-used kid from Texas engineered is one of the first games that come to mind.

Almost a year later, Guiton is once again a backup and once again trying to make the best of it.
