The school board of Battle Ground Public Schools is seeking to hire a new superintendent.

The first step will be hiring a consulting firm to oversee the superintendent search process. The district has received proposals from four search firms.

The school board invites the public to provide input on the choice of the search firm by reviewing and evaluating the four proposals.

Those interested in providing input should contact Sandy U’Ren at the district, 360-885-5305. She will schedule appointments to review the documents at the Battle Ground School District office at CASEE A, 11104 N.E. 149th Street, Brush Prairie.

The deadline for providing input is Friday, Aug. 30. The process will take about an hour.
