PHOENIX (AP) — The San Diego Padres have promoted outfielder Reymond Fuentes and right-hander Anthony Bass from Triple-A Tucson.

The 22-year-old Fuentes, cousin of St. Louis outfielder Carlos Beltran, is looking for his major league debut. He came to the Padres in the trade that sent Adrian Gonzales to Boston in December 2010. Fuentes batted .330 in 107 games with Tucson and Double-A San Antonio this season.

Bass is in his third stint with the Padres this season. The right-hander has no record and a 4.28 ERA in 19 games.

To make room, San Diego optioned outfielder Jaff Decker and right-hander Brad Brach to Tucson before Monday night’s game at Arizona.
