TALLINN, Estonia (AP) — Estonian prosecutors have charged 11 men with fixing 17 matches, including three Europa League games.

A spokeswoman for the public prosecutor’s office says the case was part of a betting scam that involved teams in Estonia, Lithuania and Ukraine.

Prosecutors suspect the defendants fixed 17 games in 2011-12, including 13 Estonian league and cup matches, a Lithuanian league match and three Europa League matches.

Eight of the defendants play for the Estonian clubs JK Narva Trans and JK Tallinna Kalev. They have been suspended pending the investigation.

Narva officials did not immediately return calls seeking comment. A Tallinna official declined to comment.
