A 45-year-old man was struck by a motorist about 7:55 p.m. Sunday at Fourth Plain Boulevard and Andresen Road.

Details were sketchy, but Vancouver police Officer Dave Chamblee said witnesses indicated the man was walking east across Andresen. He was in the crosswalk but was walking against the light.

A woman driving a Honda Pilot had a green light and her vehicle struck the man, witnesses said.

The man was taken to a hospital with injuries that were believed not to be life-threatening, Chamblee said.

No citations were issued.

The names of the man and the driver were not released.
