Boys basketball: Mountain View 55, Heritage 37

Dion Rockmore scored 19 points and Alex Torson added 14 as Mountain View opened the season with an easy win.

“I thought we had good defensive intensity,” Mountain View coach Aaron Shepherd said. “My guys missed a lot of easy shots that they would normally make. I think they were a bit jittery for the first game, but we’ll get better from here.”
