The story of Vancouver woman unknowingly live tweeting her husband’s death appears to have gone viral.

Fairfax Media, an Australian-based media company interviewed Columbian reporter Patty Hastings about the story late Wednesday. The video appeared along with a story about the incident on The Sydney Morning Herald.

Other national and international news organizations have picked up the story including Gawker, CNN and BuzzFeed.
