Girls basketball: Evergreen 52, Mountain View 37

Triann Thompson scored 15 points to lead Evergreen over Mountain View in a nonleague game.

Evergreen jumped out to a 12-point lead and kept the lead around 10 points for the remainder of the game.

“We did good job with guarding the players we wanted to take out of game,” Mountain View coach Matt Clark said. “But Thompson and (Denisha) Mataia really stepped up for them, especially in the second half.”

Christina Lundy and Emilly Moore each scored 12 points to lead Mountain View.
