Wake Forest rallies to beat Richmond 76-66 in OT

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — Codi Miller-McIntyre scored 26 points and Wake Forest rallied from a double-digit deficit in the second half to beat Richmond 76-66 in overtime Saturday.

Tyler Cavanaugh added 15 points for the Demon Deacons (8-2), including a pair of free throws early in overtime that put Wake Forest ahead to stay.

Devin Thomas had 11 points and a career-high 19 rebounds, and Travis McKie 10 points for the Demon Deacons, who have won two straight.

Cedrick Lindsay scored 18 points and Kendall Anthony 14 for the Spiders (7-3), who led by as many as 12 points midway through the second half and forced Wake Forest into 21 turnovers.

However, the Demon Deacons fought back, with Miller-McIntyre tying the score at 61 with two free throws with 7.4 seconds left in regulation.

Wake Forest, which had a 53-24 rebounding advantage, then held Richmond to just one field goal in overtime.
