WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. United have acquired veteran midfielder Davy Arnaud from the Montreal Impact for an international roster spot for the 2014 and 2015 MLS seasons.
Arnaud played in 57 games, including 52 starts, over two seasons with the Impact. He was also Montreal’s captain.
The 33-year-old Arnaud has also played with Kansas City during his 12-year MLS career. He has appeared in 297 games and has 48 goals and 43 assists. He has also made seven appearances for the U.S. national team.
The teams announced the deal Tuesday.
