ALBANY, Ore. — The Albany Parks and Recreation Department posted danger signs after people ventured out onto thin ice on a pond at Grand Prairie Park, including a man pushing a baby in a car seat.

A witness, Dustin Lowrey, told KOIN that he couldn’t believe the man was endangering his baby.

No one fell through the ice Tuesday, although it was only about an inch-and-a-half thick.
