Georgia State knocks off Old Dominion 79-73

ATLANTA (AP) — Ryan Harrow scored 33 points to lead George State to a 79-73 victory over Old Dominion Saturday.

Harrow, who made 14 of 15 free throws, completed six straight in the final 1:39 to give Georgia State (4-6) the lead and seal the victory.

The Panthers hit 32 foul shots on 42 attempts.

Manny Atkins had 15 points and Devonta White contributed 13 for Georgia State.

There were 11 ties and six lead changes.

Old Dominion (4-6) held a 37-35 advantage at the half. The Panthers did not get the lead again until midway through the second half when White made a 3-point jumper for a 54-51 lead.

The Monarchs retook the lead 68-64 with 4:09 remaining. Harrow then made two free throws and a jumper to tie the score at 68.

Aaron Bacote led Old Dominion with 21 points. Dimitri Batten had 15 and Keenan Palmore added 14.
