Tiril Eckhoff of Norway finished third, 15.5 seconds off the pace, while Gabriela Soukalova of the Czech Republic took fourth. Selina Gasparin of Switzerland, who won Saturday’s 7.5-kilometer sprint, was sixth behind Laura Dahlmeier of Germany.

Kaisa Makarainen was in the lead at the halfway stage but dropped to 15th after missing four targets.

Soukalova led Semerenko by 10 seconds at the seven-kilometer mark, but missed her last target to fall out of contention.
