PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia Eagles, down four defensive backs by the end of their game last week in Minnesota, will only be short two when they take on the Chicago Bears.
Backup safeties and special teams players Colt Anderson (knee) and Kurt Coleman (hamstring) were listed as out on Friday’s final injury report. The good news for the Eagles was that cornerback Brandon Boykin, who was knocked out of the Vikings game with a head injury, and safety Earl Wolff, who had missed the past four games with a knee injury, were listed as probable for Sunday’s game.
So the Eagles will go into Sunday’s game with its top six defensive backs healthy as they face a Chicago passing attack that ranks fifth in the league and features one of the best sets of wide receivers in the league in Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall.
