Notre Dame won’t play Big Ten opponent in 2015

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Notre Dame won’t play any Big Ten opponents in 2015, marking the first time since 1914 the Irish won’t play a school now a member of that conference.

The Irish will play Michigan and Purdue next season, but won’t play Michigan State until 2016 as it ends some of its annual rivalry games.
