INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Oscillator overtook J and S Express in the final yards to win the $49,250 feature by a half-length at Betfair Hollywood Park on Friday.
Ridden by Edwin Maldonado, Oscillator ran six furlongs on the turf in 1:09.74 and paid $7.80, $4.20 and $2.80. It was her first win on the turf in four tries.
J and S Express returned $7.20 and $4.40, while Always a Chance was another three-quarters of a length back in third and paid $4.40 to show.
Oscillator has three wins in 12 career starts and earnings of $131,500.
The 75-year-old track has two days of racing left before it closes for good Sunday.
