Sean Price shot 12-of-15 from the field to score 27 points and Collin Spickerman had 21 points and 15 rebounds as the Clark College men beat Big Bend 79-72 at the Everett Crossover Tournament on Friday.

Clark will face Whatcom or Chemeketa at 6 p.m. today.

“Big Bend is easily one of the best overall teams in the NWAACC, with probably the best individual player in Brendan Westendorf,” Clark coach Alex Kirk said. “Our guys look at this game as a measuring stick to how they are playing. We came in focused and got the early lead. Then we just traded punches with them, and I guess we got the last punch in.”

Kirk also commended Price for his defensive work on Westendorf. And Ronald Elksnis had 11 points and seven “important but dirty” rebounds, Kirk said.
