TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Shawn Glover scored 20 points on Saturday and Corbin Byford added 15 as Oral Roberts beat Division II Dallas Baptist 69-55.
Adrion Webber opened the game with a 3-pointer and Oral Roberts (6-6) led until 12:27, when Jonathan Perry made a layup and Dallas Baptist (4-6) led 15-13. ORU went in front 20-19 on a layup by Byford and pulled away, scoring nine unanswered points to lead 35-24 at halftime.
The Golden Eagles extended their lead to 39-26 on two quick layups by Drew Wilson and pulled away with short scoring bursts to lead by 16 points at 5:45. Dallas Baptist pulled to within 10 points on a layup by Perry, but could get no closer.
The Golden Eagles shot 48.9 percent compared with 37.5 percent for Dallas Baptist and out-rebounded the Patriots 41-21.
Perry led Dallas Baptist with 15 points and Myles Johnson added 11.
