INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Swiss Lake Yodeler wore down 23-1 shot Rovenna in the final yards to win the $200,250 Soviet Problem Stakes by 114 lengths Saturday at Betfair Hollywood Park, the next-to-last day of racing at the 75-year-old track.

Hall of Fame trainer Jerry Hollendorfer earned his seventh stakes win of the autumn meet, breaking the mark of six set by another Hall of Famer, Charlie Whittingham, in 1984.

Sunday will be the final day of racing before the track closes for good to make way for a retail and residential redevelopment.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Swiss Lake Yodeler ran seven furlongs on Cushion Track in 1:23.90 and paid $3.80, $3 and $2.60 as the 9-10 favorite. Bejarano leads Joe Talamo 33-32 in the jockeys’ standings.

Rovenna returned $13.80 and $8.20, while Sprouts was another 214 lengths back in third and paid $5 to show.

Global Hottie was scratched by Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert because of an elevated temperature.

Swiss Lake Yodeler has three wins in four career starts and earnings of $235,600.
