ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Bills rookie receiver Robert Woods has been ejected for punching Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones following a play in the third quarter.

It happened following running back Fred Jackson’s run on a second-and-10 from the Bills 18. Woods and Jones got tangled up to the right of the play and eventually wrestled each other to the ground.

Following the whistle, Jones was on one knee when Woods threw an underhanded punch, catching the Dolphins player across the facemask from behind.

Woods’ departure further depletes Buffalo’s depth at receiver. Rookie Marquise Goodwin was ruled out after hurting his right knee late in the first quarter. Buffalo was already minus starter Stevie Johnson, who is excused to be with his family following the death of his mother.
