Letter: End our involvement in Afghanistan

The Columbian
Published: December 27, 2013, 4:00pm

On the evening of Dec. 19, while watching the news, I heard that six more of our military members had died in Afghanistan. I became very angry.

To date, more than 2,000 of our boys and girls have died and an untold number have been injured.

For what?

Billions of dollars have gone to support a corrupt government. In my opinion, the whole country isn’t worth the life of one of ours.

Bring them home.
