NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) — Kyle Vinales sank two free throws to retake the lead in the final minute and then hit two more to secure the win as Central Connecticut State held off tiny Albertus Magnus College in an 85-82 win Sunday.

After leading most of the game, the Blue Devils (4-8) saw their second half lead evaporate on a 3-pointer by James Jennings with 57 seconds left to give the Division III Falcons an 82-81 edge. But Vinales then made two trips to the foul line, reclaiming the CCSU lead with 44 seconds to go and padding it moments later by draining another pair.

Vinales scored 20 points and eight assists in the win, while Faronte Drakeford contributed 22 points and 10 rebounds. Terrell Allen added 14 points and Malcolm McMillan had 10.

Victor Ljuljdjuraj led Albertus Manus (7-1) with 24 points and 14 rebounds, while Darius Watson scored 26 points.
