Cease wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Cease rebounded from a ninth-place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Marathon to easily win the $79,000 allowance feature on Tuesday at Aqueduct.

Cease powered to a 912-length victory over Snake Pit for his sixth win in 24 starts. The 6-year-old gelding trained by David Jacobson and ridden by David Cohen ran a mile in 1:37.33 on the track rated good.

Cease paid $11, $5.70 and $3.80. Snake Pit returned $8.30 and $4.40, and This Hard Land paid $8.50 to show.
