Roger L. Foster died Dec. 20, 2013. He was 74.

He was born June 19, 1939, in East St. Louis, Ill. A funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m., at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will follow at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.

James Dean McAulay

James “Jim” Dean McAulay died Dec. 12, 2013. He was 56.

Larry S. Ward

Larry S. Ward died Dec. 22, 2013. He was 75.

He was born Dec. 17, 1938, in Vancouver. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8 at noon, at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas. Private inurnment will be at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.

Dmitriy G. Maksimov

Dmitriy G. Maksimov, of Gresham, Ore., died Dec. 27, 2013, in Oregon. He was 28.

Services were held today in Portland, Ore. Straub’s Funeral Home and Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Charlotte A. Portner

Charlotte A. Portner, died Dec. 23, 2013, in Camas. She was 93.

She was born May 4, 1920, in Spanaway, Wash. A memorial service will be held April 5 at 3 p.m., at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas. A complete obituary will be published in March. Straub’s Funeral Home and Columbia River Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Melvin A. Scott Sr.

Melvin Arnold Scott Sr. died peacefully Dec. 24, 2013, at his home in Camas. He was 89.
