Dungey earns first Supercross win of season

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Ryan Dungey earned his first Supercross win of the season on Saturday night, and fellow KTM rider Ken Roczen raced to his second consecutive victory in the 250SX class.

Dungey became the fourth different winner in five races this season and moved into second place in the season standings. Davi Millsaps finished second and holds a 14-point lead over Dungey. Justin Barcia, who did not finish the last two races, grabbed third.

Roczen quickly moved into the lead on the opening lap in front of a crowd of 41,294 at Angel Stadium. Martin Davalos was second and Eli Tomac finished third.

Roczen extended his series lead to 20 points over Tomac.
