BOSTON (AP) — New Boston College coach Steve Addazio says he’s only known some of his recruits for about six weeks.

But there’s one he’s quite familiar with.

Addazio’s son, Louie, is a tight end who went to Syracuse last year. He’s transferring to BC to join his father in Chestnut Hill.

Steve Addazio was hired two months ago after Frank Spaziani finished 22-29 in four-plus seasons with the Eagles. Addazio brought in 17 players, but 13 of them were already committed to Spaziani.

Among the players are Tyler Rouse, a running back who was the player of the year in New York State, and Matt Patchan, an offensive lineman who transferred from Florida.
